"The Mighty have no room for doubt"
Acolytes: Cato, Serghar, Lazerus, Meghera.
The Acolytes are called to the Clockwork Court, to meet the Quorum and the Judiciary. When they arrive on site, the place is under attack. They enter the premises, and face the attacker: a group of Risen! They take care of the creatures, but when they enter the office of the Judiciary, they find him and his guardians dead. One of the drawers of his desk is open and empty.
After this event, the situation in Sinophia Magna rapidly degenerates, as the Undertow, the Quorum, and the Enforcers prepare for civil war.
The day after, the Acolytes interrogate the Sagacity Eupheme Tassel, Keeper of Records in Sinophia Magna. They learn of the legend of Erasmus Haarlock and his Daemon Mirror, broken into 13 pieces. Seems that all the victims possessed a piece. One was kept in the Keeper's Chambers, but the place has been recently ransacked. Eupheme reveals that one more piece was given to the noble Lady Amorite, who is still alive.
The Acolytes run to the Amorite mansion, but find the place under attack from more Risen. On the upper floors, they witness old Lady Amorite being killed by the creatures, ready to grasp her mirror fragment. While the mansion burns, the Acolyte manage to take the mirror fragment from the Risen, and escape.
Back in Haarlock's Folly, deep in the night Cato inspects the mirror fragment, but he's assaulted in his rooms by a mysterious psyker clad in a Fearful Aura. As Cato's blood boils, he loses consciousness.
