Acolytes: Jarr, Meghera, Metalus, Mongrel, Dar.
The Acolytes manage to escape from the Enforcers' Station, together with an hostage. From him, they learn that the source of the evil afflicting Coscarla is to be found in the Alms House. As they make their way there, they encounter Meghera, who has miracolously escaped from the clutches of whatever creature hides in the Alms House. Still, she has suffered greatly, both in body and mind.
The Acolytes assault the Alms House, confronting Body Snatchers and Homunculi, grotesque creations of a sick mind, and Dar is severely wounded. As they access the main lab, they can confront the mastermind behind all this suffering: the Churgeon, a reneagade Adeptus Mechanicus trafficking in xeno and heretic technology.
The Churgeon unleashes her scalpel familiar on the Acolytes, almost killing Meghera. But in the end the Acolytes prevail, and put an end to her threat and her life.
Aftering having aquired a few more samples and evidence, the Acolytes torch the place, and make their way back to the Inquisition HQ to report.
Interrogator-Medicae Sands congratulates them for a job well done; it is now time to mend their wounds.
