Born on Acreage, Aenid was an old sorceress in a remote corner of that planet. She had survived a few of her children and  her grandchildren had started demanding favours. She refused them.

She started preparing to move to an even more remote corner of the world to retire. Then came the Inquisition to investigate rumors of a local witch. She was given a choice to start a new career or to retire permanently from life. Intrigued about the stars where they came from and not wanting an early grave (in her mind), she went with to the black ships willingly.

She joined the Acolytes on their mission on the Twilight, a space-hulk on a collision route with Scintilla.
