Acolytes: Mongrel, Monroe, Dar, Aenid, Meghera.
The Acolytes investigate the site of the Broken Chains latest attack, and they find more clues pointing to the fact that the attacks are not just acts of terror, but part of some kind of nefarious ritual.
Guided by Baron Ulbrexis, they travel through hidden tunnels to reach the former hidehout of the Broken Chains, and they find the place tainted by Warp energies. The meeting with a few hostile mutants does not bring any useful information, only a slaughter.
The Acolytes decide to make contact with the Hard Vaults, a community of mutants with former ties with the Broken Chains, but with a much less violent approach. They meet with their spokesperson, Olion, who reveals to them that the Broken Chains are planning a big attack in the next three days.
According to the spiral pattern of the previous attacks, the next attack will be at Hazel's Cross, a mine-shaft currently heavily exploited. The Acolytes recruit the help of both the Arbites and the Royal Scourges, and prepare for the imminent attack.
